Ref: links to posts on the old host

For no particular reason other than being laid up post open inguinal hernia surgery, I was browsing some old posts.  I noticed that any response to a question on a thread where I used a link to an earlier post that was created when the forum was using the old host would not get there.  Understandable, but wondered if there is a workaround to change the link rather than doing a search on the topic to find it.

In my case, if anyone needs the info, will be glad to search as needed to provide, similar to replacing pictures that were lost during the Photobucket debacle . But just wondered if that is the easiest way.
