This topic has been moved to CP-16's. Just to make sure our CP-16 folks see this and get a chance to respond.  Does your mainsail have a sewn-in  line along the luff?  if so, the line should slide up the mast as you draw in your mainsail halyard. If it doesn't, you may need to add hardware to the sail.
