Sailingtexas.com is a good site to find your boat and/ read numerous descriptions of the 19. There is a good looking1985 CP 19II located in Conn. and a link in the CPYOA classifieds. I don't see a trailer. Maybe you could sail it home!
Sailboatlistings.com has a '98 ,eastern Shore Md. I think the price is $11K. Also one in the CPYOA classifieds eastern Shore MD. I don't think it is the same boat as mentioned above; also $11K+/-.
There were only 624 CP-19s manufactured, so they are a little hard to find. Don't know anyone who speaks ill of that model.
Good luck with your search.

Try a nation-wide Craigslist search. That's where I found both my Com-Pacs, and both at bargain prices too ($3500 for my 19 and $10k for my 27, both 1988). Many sailboats are unloaded on Craigslist by sellers who aren't tuned in to sailingtexas, yachtworld or other sites frequented by more serious sailors, and therefore you can often find a bargain.

PS many of the members of this forum have the helpful habit of posting links to Com-Pacs for sale when they run across them. Kudos to BobK, a gentleman and a scholar, for finding the 27 I ended up buying via a posting on St. Louis Craigslist. If you hang out here for a few weeks someone is guaranteed to point you toward a 19 for sale somewhere.

Thanks for your suggestions . Anyone know how long the cockpit is I the compac 19. How many adults could you fit on a calm day. Currently we have a macgregor 25 which has a good sized cockpit. Anyone wanna trade.
Thanks y'all again for your info.

Six if you are sitting at the dock drinking Margaritas. Five if you need a place to put the guacamole and chips. Four if you actually plan to go sailing.

Wes,
What is the procedure for a "nationwide" search on Craigslist?

Here is one I have used:

www.onecraigs.com

Or google "Craigslist search nationwide" and you'll find other similar tools.

Yeah, thanks a lot Wes:
Now you got me looking for a Cape Dory Typhoon, Flicka, etc. If I find one, I'll have you to blame!!!!!

Yeah Wes, thanks, I used to be satisfied with a search of about a hundred miles, now I've spent a half a day searching the country for all kinds of stuff I don't need. ;)

Hi,
We are looking to sell our 85' compac 19.  Don't have a price yet.  We are located in Southern California.  We LOVE that boat, but we just don't have the time for sailing anymore.  If you are interested, we can email you some pics with more information.

Hi!

Yesterday I did a National Craig's List search  looking myself for a 19 footer.  Dreaming!!!!!   Here is the National Craig's List link that I use:

      http://www.craigs-list-search.com/

I found a 19 footer located in Durham, N.H., that looks like a well cared for boat and seems to be a good deal.   Here is the link!

      http://nh.craigslist.org/boa/3734556359.html

Not to sure how far it is from you, but it is almost 600 miles from Ohio.   I would be interested in the boat myself, but I am going on a 2 week vacation later this week in the opposite direction.  The boat will likely be sold when I get back.  Hope this Helps and Good Luck on your search!

Thanks for the find!!

Enjoy your vacation. Hope it involves sailing.

I spoke with the owner, just a matter or finding the time to make the trip.
