After some health issues, I am regretfully at the point of offering my 1980 Com_Pac 16 for sale. I am located in Reading, MA, as is the boat and trailer. I am anxious to get her into the hands of someone who will appreciate and use her. If you know of any interested parties, please have them post and I will contact them.

Sorry to hear of your health issues. Do you have any specifics on your 16? Condition? Motor? Price? Thanks,

The boat is in very good condition: no issues. It is a 1980, but doesn't look her age. Sails are very good: no rips, tears, stains, etc. Rigging is new three years ago, done by Brown's Yacht Yard in Gloucester. Trailer is in excellent shape (Magic Tilt), with new wheels and bearings three years ago. Only mileage on the wheels  was one round trip per year to and from Gloucester (app. 60 miles r/t.) Mast is solid. Engine is a 25 or so year old Honda 2 1/2 hp. The design did not include neutral or reverse gears. Engine starts in gear, but can be so throttled down when choked that there is no lurching. reverse is accomplished by spinning the engine 180 degrees. Sounds weird, but you get used to it easily. I have a fair amount of usage on the engine (I bought it new for use on an inflatable), but it is very reliable. It does need a new carburetor every two years or so because of fuel additiives, but that is not a huige expense. If you plan to overnight, you will need new cuddy cushions.
