What do you think the story is with the missing forward bulkhead that usually hides the anchor rode locker? Removed for extra foot room in the v-berth?

Greene

It looks like they did extend the v-berth forward.  We don't have those two cushions up there as they show in the pics.  Looks like a nice boat that just needs a little detailing.  $5 to $6k sounds pretty reasonable if the outboard is sound.

mike figured you would be moving up to the 27. if the 23 was a hit last year( which indeed it was) just think what the reaction would be to a 27. you would have to adopt rich.

I don't think there are any additional cushions, I think they just removed the bulkhead. It looks like their cushions end right where the grey paint starts. Below is a picture of my v-berth cushions, they kind of wrap around in the front too, like in the eBay pictures.

Be a nice quick project boat, certainly looks like it needs very little done to it.......

Nate - you may be right.  It just looks like they are replacement cushions which are longer than mine.  Probably just these old eyes of mine.  This is a pic of my v-berth.

Kicknmeister - No 27 in our future.  When we upgrade it will be one of the boats on our short list.  (We listed them in our blog a while ago).   Preferably a Pacific Seacraft Dana or Orion.  I'd really love a newer Shannon 28, but I'm already dreaming enough with an older PS.

I have 4 boats already....   But not a COM-PAC 23.  Mike, if you and Admiral B adopt me you might need a bigger potting shed.
