Hi all -

I'm currently learning and configuring the new image gallery software that the CPYOA site will make use of.

Although it will reside in a different "place" on the site, it will be available for use as a tool which you can use to post images here, in your posts. It will also be a standalone Gallery in its own right, where you can view images that CPYOA members have uploaded. A neat interactive feature it has is that you can annotate the photo with relevant information, and other members can comment or even vote on the photo. Non-members who visit the site will also be able to view the photo, but not use the advanced functionality of the Gallery software.

The forum FAQ (linked above this message box area) explains how to place images into your posts. You can do that several ways, the easiest is to simply link to an image that resides elsewhere on the internet. So, once I have the software up, you will be able to place an image in the CPYOA Gallery, and then link to it from your post. Pretty simple and easy to do, and it will add functionality to both the CPYOA website and to this Forum.

Get your pictures ready! :)

Been playing with that software, it's really nice. I think I'll have it ready maybe by tomorrow (Wed 8/4/04).

There will be 100 or so pictures in there right off the bat. These were the photo's that Darrell Abed sent me, from an earlier CPYOA. I'd really appreciate it if when you look at the photos, if you recognize any of them, you'll add a comment including what you know. All I know about them is their file name. :)

Also, our 50th member joined today. :)

I would like to post a picture of my 23 but I do not know how. When I invented the internet I never thought it would out run me.

If you're comparing movers in Downey, it helps to start with a company that outlines services clearly. Downey Movers describes a structured, "stress-free" process with upfront quotes and an experienced crew. They cover common move types—local moves, long-distance relocation, and office moves—so it's easy to see if they match your situation. They also mention help with specialty items like pianos and heavy items (including safes), which can matter when you're planning equipment and timing. Labor-only help is available as well if you already have a truck.
