Hey Folks,
I am in Boston MA and looking for a new (used) trailer for a compac 16.  I'm not having much luck finding one.  Anyone have any ideas.  Should I buy a cheap used power boat trailer strip it and retrofit it with all new parts to fit?
Thanks for any ideas

When I purchased our 23 it didn't have a trailer either.  We searched hard for 3 weeks with only one overpriced 23 trailer to show for it.  We ended up buying a tandem axle power boat trailer with bunks and modifying it to fit.  One of the members here was kind enough to measure his trailer bunks so we had a good idea where to start.  I'll bet someone would measure their 16 trailer for you if you find a stinkpot trailer to modify.

first you have to find a stinkpot sailboat. they didnt make them long since they continued to sink leaving their trailers without a boat
