Just completed a combination swim platform / Davit / Outboard mount and Boarding ladder.

Tomorrow I mount the outboard and tender to see if they fit.... Wish me luck.

Wow, that's quite the project! Is the outboard bracket the flat piece just above the "B."? The top of the davits looks like a great place for a couple 85 watt solar panels. Have you given any consideration to how you'll secure the dinghy from swinging while underway? That was the one issue I had with Pooka's davits. I also found out that an inflatable is much easier to keep from swinging then a hard dinghy.

If all works out as planned, with the outboard in place (yes, mounted on the plate on the boarding ladder) I will be able to lash the inflatable and outboard together to stay secure.  Going to put it all together and out for a test sail next weekend. Will try to get some pic.s to post.

WOW! It's almost starting to not look like a Com Pac Yacht anymore.
Of course your working with the larger model. Good job.

So here is the finished home designed-homebuilt combination swim platform/outboard mount/dingy davit. Next weekend she gets a sea trial.

Very nice. We'll be down for the sea trial. Let me guess- your favorite color is....blue!

Very nice! She looks fully outfitted. Would love to see pics of the interior. I noticed the name of your boat is the same, save an apostrophe S, as Greene's CP19.  What a coincidence.

Hope to own a CP27 one day.  Need bigger water first.

Thanks for sharing the pics of your davit.

I spent a few hours on a 27 while I was down in Florida recently.  They are a very nice yacht to be sure.  I loved the big open bow area and the stable feel of the boat.  I know that rum drinks go well on them!  They are the sister ship of the Island Packet 27 which I love.

Congrats on the nice work, time to enjoy your improvements on the water.

Nice platform.  I don't see many sailboats with swim platforms but I think they look great.  I guess some new walkout transoms have built in platforms.  Great job.  Will posts pics soon of my new California dodger and electronics install.

Wow! I love it. Been thinking of the same thing. Would love to hear more about this.
I'm trying to think of ways to help the dog board the boat easier from the dingy.
