Looking for the casting and rudder blade if somebody has one they don't need.  Let me know.

Brian,

Ping Doug142 over Personal Message, he may still have one I gave him from a few years ago (actually the entire steering assembly except the mount bolted to the boat).  He's sold his boat so he may still have the assembly to sell you.  Otherwise compare the prices of new parts from Hutchins and from IDA sailor.  Good luck

Ahoy Captain
I have an extra rudder blade off my 23...don't know if it will fit yours, or can be modified, but you can have it if you want it (free). It has a slight bend in it, tho.  I'm moving to Dunedin the first or second week of March and can bring it then.

Thanks for the offer Bob, but the casting needs replacing to, due to oxidation.

I have a complete kickup rudder and tiller assembly from my Compac 16 which got ruined in a hurricane that I want to sell.  It is complete with the bolts.  It is in good shape, the tiller is teak and holly laminate and there is no noticeable oxidation.  I also have a white tiller cover which goes with it.   You can see it on E-bay but send me an e-mail and we can discuss price and shipping costs.
