Sounds like a nice trip. Engins are nice however some times they make you want to turn them into artificial reefs for the fish, forget the clock and hoist the sail.

Have you ever been over to Cape Charles, used to be a nice place for a young person.  I spent a while over there when my stepfather was helping build the bridges.  Understand the bridges has brought the masses to there and not quite so quiet now.  Aah memories

Actually haven't been to Cape Charles in a couple of decades.    You're probably correct in that it's not as quiet as it was.

Having a relation who's helped build the bridges should engender some interesting discussions.  It's always nice to having taken part in building something for the rest of mankind.  :)
