Hey Dave,

You have your priorities correct!. Glad to hear he is getting good care.

Absolutely we will figure in some sailing this season. The chance to see the area will be missed on this event but we will start getting down there more regularly once skiing/boarding season is over and sailing season is staring us in the face, late March/ early April. Maybe you can take a trip down to check it out, though the 16's are so easy to trailer you might as well just bring her!

With you not coming, that does mean more beer for the rest of us! I thought you would be glad to know that.  :)

Golly who woulda thought that Mary O'Hara would have penned a potential topic of discussion........and she was a New Joisey shore girl!

Hmmm....just placed a quick post on the CP16 specific and classified section cuz found a 16 for sale only about an hour from this epic gathering. Bet it could be had for less and already good price. Just think, for you that have been trying to avoid the inevitable, which is the ownership of a 16, here is chance to keep looking in the rear view mirror on your way home, wondering what happened?! Let's see...was drinking some beer......talking about boats......remember a drive......BAM! Oh yeah that's right got another boat.  :)

Kevin, maybe the owner wants to trade up to a 23!. Bob, if you let Linda load her up with antiques for the drive home she probably would acquiesce! Tim, that could make an even dozen, always a nice number! Pedro, it would allow you to dose yourself when those inevitable times of, what happened to my mast? happens to you!

Jus saying!

Well hopefully one of you guys bought her cuz she's gone!  Was a good deal.  :)  I have removed the topic from CP16 and Classified.

Well up late sitting by fire looking at boats. Darn this internet! Well we are almost a week away and there has been some activity behind the scenes that may come to light as we all gather.......

"If there are people that tell you have too many boats...........
..........get way from them, as nobody needs that kind of negativity in their lives!!"

NO we are not thinking about getting another boat! Not sure that is true for everyone.  :)

Well, there is a good chance that my wife and I will be there for the gathering.  We won't be staying the night as we have to get home.

I am looking forward to seeing you all.

Great Matt- I hope you both can make it.
Did someone say "too many boats'? I can guarantee if Admiral Linda attends, she will definitely attest to the fact that I have too many boats. She just never learned to count, that's all which is strange for a college educumated woman.
See you wharf rats in a week! Can't wait...driving the Porsche down. If I brought the truck, I might come back with...another boat!!!!Bwooooahahahahaha!!!!

Matt and hopefully his wife coming..... great!! CBMWG would not be the same without ya! Somebody has to keep track of the last beers and it ain't gunna be either Bob or myself. It appears Linda can't count so that may explain not only Bob's boats but the beer tally! Unfortunately Susan can count. "isn't that your third beer?"

As far as the truck Bob, you really gotta bring it.....way more flexibility in towing a new boat home, loading antiques up for Linda, yada yada.........!

Don't forget to give Pedro and Becky a little heads up on their gracious offer to take us all in at their home for some additional drinks and munchies after we get thrown out of Merrior. I think i remember the 7 time frame. They live oh so close by. Scroll back up through to see address and particulars.

It appears that many of us are spending the night in various places nearby so who knows maybe we can piece together some next day activities before everyone points their vehicles towards home. Easy enough to discuss over food and drink!

We are gunna be leaving home oh so early in AM to drive down as have to swing by Interlude first, then wanna start the table round up ahead of time. Hopefully we can get Pedro and Becky to assist. (table holders get to have first beers!) with that said we never really confirmed that 12:30 worked for everyone. Does it? We can easily make it 1:00 if that gives more flexibility to folks coming with goodly drives, the only caveat is Merrior does not take reservations. The later we go after they open for lunch the more crowded they get. 1-3 is sort of the height of lunch hour for them. I have already given them the heads up and they will work with us, don't want anyone feeling rushed while driving.  Weigh in all

JERSEY SHORE TRAILER SAILERS

Works for me as well. Admiral not coming so I'll be arriving via Porsche 930 CW. Vintage 1993 model, very rare, very fast. GPS says 6 hours...should take me 2!
I'm tentatively planning to visit the Flicka in Weems the next day...unless I change my mind completely about this crazy idea. If I strike a deal, I may be permanently and instantly relocating to Virginia- the Admiral may have a price on my head!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

should i plan to be leaving the country......?  Feel kinda responsible for this.

Guess a trip to Weems will be one of our Sunday activities.  Will bring a list of homes for sale as well. Though with standing headroom could be a place to stay!  She'll come around. :)

P.S thought she couldn't count?
P.P.S. there is a plaque for you in the men's restroom at Merrior. Not kidding.

When it comes to my boats, she can count just fine!
Link is somewhere but I'm supposed to be working tonight!

Mas

No link on this here. I sent it PM so could be kept secret......well the Flicka is out of the bag now! Guess that solves the "my friend Flicka" match!

Bob if you check your last PM there is a reference to Jimmy Buffet giving a shout out to Pacific Seacraft at a recent concert, as they are building his new boat for him. He used to sail a Flicka many years ago! (His new one is a tad bigger!)

Hey just think.....if you have to move to Virginia you will not have to move the boat!

Richmond Craigslist......I do believe that this Flicka was sold out of Regent Point a couple years ago. Beck and I looked at it back then, and the owner was asking 28K at the time with a nice trailer.  Rick, be a good friend to Bob and buy it!

Yo Pedro, no problem will jus put it on my Visa, that would be the Visa for travel to a foreign country! Think Bob may need one of those. Glad that boat can make the voyage. Was on the Norfolk Craigs, well anyway that's where i found it a couple weeks ago. Still there as just checked. If it had a trailer then must have one now, if it is the same one, and you can tell it is on a trailer in the pics. . Can't imagine someone selling a trailer for a Flicka without the Flicka, guess you never know though. You buy that 16 that was on Craigs? You know you want one! Someone got a great deal.

So....if Bob sold all of his other boats he could get the Flicka and a CP16! Jus saying... Know he has a lot to drink....uh think about. :)

Weather is looking nice, though still a week away.
