new mast for Nomad

I picked Nomad up from ComPac this morning.  Jerry and the gang replaced the slightly bent mast with a brand new one, and fitted it to the mast stub, reattached all the fittings and tested that it went up ok. 

I'll be sure to look up when maneuvering at the ramp.  A pine tree put a permanent bend in the old one!
We tried everything, including a visit to a spar shop, but it kept coming back to not quite straight.

Anyway, the factory guys did a great job and I'm ready to go again, except they couldn't figure out the lazy jack system, since they don't sell them, and it's something I'll have to reattach, I guess.

It's great to have a boat that is still being made!
