Curious: what is your preferred method of coming about single-handed in a 23?

Thought it would be interesting to hear the different methods (and tips) on how to come about as quickly and gracefully as possible while single handed (with no tiller pilot).  I bet there are a lot of different styles and I'm looking to improve.  Here's mine:

Pick up speed on the approach
Set down beer
Crouch in the middle of the cockpit with tiller between knees or stopped by one leg
Gather jib sheets in each hand
Release the leeward sheet from cam cleat and flip one loop off of winch
Shove tiller hard alee
Maintain tension on leeward jib sheet by hand
As bow passes across direction of wind, take last loop off of winch and begin to pay out leeward jib sheet
As wind begins to fill jib on opposite side, give full slack to allow wind to push jib clear of shrouds on new leeward side (formerly windward)
Grab tiller and point for approximate new course
After jib clears shrouds, wrap once around winch on new leeward side and haul in tight
Put second wrap around winch and cleat
Find tiller again and set course for actual new tack
Set spilled beer upright

Got to work on containing that beer. That is alcohol abuse don't you know.

I use the good old fashioned Fizz Whizz bottle caps, courtesy of my father, from the 60's or 70's. I'm sure most of you guys remember them.

However, only only rare situations would the bottle tip out of the cupholder (an accurate past due reefing alert mechanism).  It has saved many drinks over the years when I didn't use the cupholder for whatever reason.

You can still get them on ebay, nearly all appear to be corporate gifts from that time era.

This isn't the mine, but they aside from color and logo, they are all alike.

I like to practice saying "ready about" and "helm's alee"  also.

One thing that works well is to let the jib backwind to bring the bow around; not always necessary, but can be helpful.

Fizz Whizz huh; that's kinda salty, Salty.
