It seems refits go ever so slowly but as I began the list of work done its not too bad.  Because its too hot in summer to work below I started with the trailer. Remember I converted a used power boat trailer but if I had it to do over it would be better to buy a new one.  In Fl at least galvanizing is just a silver/gray color paint - everything rusts - the brake shoes actually rusted off the axle even though they were flushed after every use. My brake lines rusted solid from the inside!  I refinished the rudder next then tackled compounding, polish and waxing the hull.  What a job that was!  It was worth it -now it is much easier to keep clean.  I just finished repainting the none skid areas and fixing  worst of the gel coat cracks.  I removed the hand rails and continue to wipe on lite cetol - 5 coats so far-it is a rainy day project.  Now that the weather has cooled I started work below.  The main cabin is almost primed.  I think I will use the vinyl strip flooring for the sole and maybe some of the house walls.  Home depot has a textured product that is close in color and looks very much like wood.   HideAway has a custom mast step made out of 1/4 aluminum with the mast wiring running through a hole drilled in the base.  I had to cut the wires to remove the mast.  I have not been able to find the 4 wire  Thu hull connector the new boats have.   Just today I noticed the bolts holding the wood trim above the portholes were leaking - the bolts are loose- how that happened is a mystery.

I want to be back in the water in time for the fall/winter sailing season The list is still long and the cool weather in short supply this year.

I have made several videos of the projects with more on the way and my blog  adds some details to the projects some of which are too risky to film.

Thanks for the update.  I am glad to hear that you are progressing.  Your videos are enjoyable!

This spring I am adding a new anchor rode, pressurized water, and a house VHF with DSC and AIS wired into my Garmin GPS Map 441s.  I may do new rudder bushings and paint the rudder.  My dingy needs a fiberglass patch also and I may paint that as well.

All this work and not enough time to do it.

Good luck with the rest of your list!
