like Dr. Sheldon Cooper's mailman says "-------s Be Crazy". Strangely, Sarah wants us to get a new jib for "Audrey J".
oday 14 daysailor, chrysler musketeer cat, chrysler mutineer, com-pac 16-1 "kicknbug" renamed "audrey j", catalina capri 18 "audrey j"

I'm going to splurge and get my boat a sail stop.  Let's hope she's behaving well.

Ok Ok, so I peeked a little in the box that UPS-A-Claus dropped off yesterday.  It looked like a new claw anchor and some cool 16oz sailboat themed glasses.  Both items were packed in the same box....  I guess it is a good thing those glasses are "unbreakable".

Which one did you get?  I was following the CP-23 forum thread, although I figure a 1100 pound CP-16 probably only requires a smaller hook and chain than a 2900 pound behemoth [and I'm hoping that the CP-23 fleet isn't insulted by that term].

I picked up an 11 pound galvanized Lewmar from Defender.  I am hoping to spend more time on the hook this year.  I had read some previous posting from a CP-16 sailor using an 11 pound.  It defiantly seams to be on the big side for my 16.  One of the reasons I went with the 11 pound is that I believe it will work nicely on the other boats I use as well.  The other boats go up to 22'.  Defender packed that box very nicely.  I think they had enough bubble wrap to float my car.

Thinking of either a genoa or spinnaker for 'Applejack'.
Perhaps also new mattresses..
Oh a chart-plotter might be nice!
Shhhh, quiet please the Admirals coming back.......

So...you just gotta assume things will cost twice as much since you have two women in your life. Boats are referred to in the feminine for a reason, beautiful to look at, always needing attention, accessories are pricey!

Just got back from the St Pete boat show, add davits to the list! Purchased Garhauer 1inch  250 lb capacity SS.

Not sure I need any actual stuff.

What I want is for someone to help me install the deckpipe.

I don't need the help to do it, I need the person to arrange to help me, show up, and then I'll actually do it. Yeah, I would accept the help also, because my main way to do stuff is to do it, realize I misunderstood something, then undo and redo. I don't want to do that with a hole in the deck.

Oh, and I want a table sawyer to cut my old plywood single piece hatchboard in half, with a slant so the rain wouldn't come in. Maybe I'd get a real good one to duplicate the notch the CP factory cut in the starboard covers they sent. I will then put a screen in the top half, and maybe put a small AC unit to connect to the bottom half when I want to be cool at the dock.

I was given a vintage ashtray as a gift years ago and this post made me think of the quote that is on it:

"Who wishes to give himself an abundance of trouble,
Let him equip these two things,
A Ship and a Woman.
Not two things involve more bother, for neither is ever
SUFFICIENTLY ADORNED."

I picked up a Walker Bay 8 with oars and the sail kit for next to nothing last summer.  I may add the RID Tube Kit.

I'll stop here for now.

There's not much I need but I'd like to have a suitable place to keep smaller quantities of the 4  rums I keep on board. Maybe smaller bottles (sorry, I refuse to put rum in plastic) in a padded box. Sounds like something I'm gonna have to make.
Also, I want to perfect my Jack Benny 5 day cooler.  A few years ago, I experimented with a foam box that I built with a standard cooler inside. After rigorous 3rd party testing, it was indeed confirmed that I could keep Pabst Blue Ribbon cold for 5 days in summer temperatures. Eureka!!!!
