Just opened this thread for the first time and was shocked to learn that someone in the Compac community was involved in this terrible tragedy.  I'm sorry for your misfortune.

So glad that your wife seems to be on the mend.  Sending good thoughts and best wishes.

Have been traveling, my first look at the forum since last Wed.  In fact I listened to the reports of the incident on the radio while driving to Florida.  Had no idea it impacted one of our own.  Tim, my thoughts and prayers for a rapid recovery for Vickie are with you folks.  So sorry this happened.

Prayers go out for the fast recovery of Vicki.   Thoughts and prayers also to the families of the two young persons who life ended too soon.

Just back and opened this thread.
Horrified to learn that one of the ComPac  Crew was hurt in the shooting. Glad to hear Vicki is progressing well. Our thoughts are with you.
Best Wishes.

We all wish Tim and Vicki a complete and full recovery from this senselessness. In an effort to steer this in a slightly different direction, I offer you this:

This was taken at this years CLR where Vicki displayed her unique sense of humor (even if her choice of friends can be questioned!)  This is the Vicki I met and the one we are all looking forward to seeing again! Why she would ever want to risk her reputation by having a photo taken with some curmudgeonly old fart is beyond me!!!
Get well soon, Vicki: CLR 2016 is just around the corner and we need you there!!!
Blessings to you,

i feel pretty bad now---as she refused to have a picture taken with me. maybe it was the catalina (a boat that won the big clr cup---hahaha). get well sweetheart,

Kick:
Don't feel bad...I had to bribe Vicki with big cash for her to pose for that pic. You think she'd ruin her reputation for nothing???

BOB, BOB, BOB BOB BOB,

I told you not to talk about how the Admiral requires honoraria.  That's a two finger fine for you, my friend!

Hey, it's all among family, TG! Really nice to see all the pics of the recovering Vicki on her page. I have a great one on my camera of her floating with buddy on her lap and a drink in each hand!! Priceless!!

I follow the FB pages as well, and was so glad to see the pics of her today (I check it occasionally, so the pics might have been from last few days) and was very glad to see smiling.

I have prayed for her, and her recovery. Ginger and I have talked and compared what we have read staying up with the recovery. Tell her for us to keep up the good work!

We are like a big family here! Which is so awesome to me!

Well Ls & Gs, I'm happy to let you all know that the Admiral resumed command today, but remains on light duty.
Her command post is our first floor guest bedroom so she doesn't have to climb stairs.  But rest assured her orders are heard loud and clear.

Praise the Lord for her recovery.  Always great to be home.  I bet her little puppy is happy.  I cannot remember his name.
Thinking of you
