Ron,
  thanks for mentioning  Macedon..  i checked it out, and that looks like a great spot to  start our summer trip..   they have the lift that I would need to pick up the boat ..  looks like nice facilities..      then we could head west as far as we  can go before  having to turn around..  and then  come back, stopping at different towns than the ones on the way out..    this sure gives  us something to get excited about!   jt
