Compac 23 Cooler

We use several small coolers- Packing  each with food for the day. drinks we keep  separate.  Sometimes we layer the taller coolers with bubble wrap to separate the meals.  Food for the later meals are frozen.  You have more things to step around but it beats wrestling a heavy cooler.  The area below the cabin step is reserved for things we need quickly in the cockpit.  On longer cruises we have two round 2 gallon coolers for water that are stored in the bow.  We also make good use of blue ice in all forms.
