I have a 27/2 and the swage fittings on the split backstay have finally corroded to the point that they need to be replaced. The norseman's fittings I plan to use come with two different sizes for the pin that secures the fork to the plate; 5/16 and 3/8" Can anyone tell me what the size of the pin is supposed to be? I keep my boat out of country and don't have access to measure it.

Mine is 5/16" (1988 boat). If you want to be certain you could call or email Hutchins.

Thanks much. I actually did email Hutchins. Just haven't heard back so thought I would post here. Appreciate the response. The good thing is, even if I ordered the 5/16 and it turned out to be 3/8, it would still work. Not so much if it were the other way around  ;).
