Well another sailing season is over for most of us and it is time to reflect on all the wonderful times this sport has provided us.  Show us your favorite pictures from this season.

Here are a few of ours.

Brenda (port) and friend Penny bow riding.

Beautiful sunset on Lake Mendota in Madison, WI

The Admiral enjoying a sail.

Our son's girlfriend Kelly at the helm.

Brenda is not a fair weather sailor.

Thanks, Mike. Sure helps us northeasterners whose boats are on the hard. I see that Squint the Very Famous Racing Dingy managed to sneak into one of the photos...nice.

Great pic's mike.  I'm not sure I have my favorite yet.  Monday prediction is for 65 with winds NNW at 10, mostly sunny with clear overnight and a full moon.  It's the Admirals birthday.  I'm thinking an early evening sail, supper and champagne on the boat with the full moon.  We'll see..... ;D

And it's all thanks to Rich Hutchins and his family.

These taken last week before the cold front came through.  One of the best trips of the year.  Nice beam reach conditions, steady winds, sailed the five miles from Bay Springs Marina to Crows Neck point, got off the boat and explored the Crows Neck area, then sailed home.

My crew was Dr. Chip Walter, who is my youngest son's FIL.  A relative novice he took to it.

Me at the Crows Neck overlook.

And the boat, looking good in the cove at Crows Neck.

I like that 'Crow's Neck' area. Like exploring up river with the African Queen. Is that fresh water?
What is FLI ?

skip.

Yes, fresh water.  Bay Springs Lake is part of the Tenn-Tom system formed as a lake by the Whitten lock and dam.  The damming caused literally hundreds of fingers and coves to be formed off the main lake.  Because the lake is federally owned and managed by the Corp of Engineers, there is no development.  Crows Neck Environmental center is one of the only structures on the lake and it is not currently operating.  Used to be an environmental camp/classroom for school groups, but funding provided by the community colleges dried up.

You mean FIL?  Father in Law.  Retired Navy Dr. doing urgent care now, good guy to have on a boat in the event of emergencies.  Unfortunately, moving away, heading up to your area, suburb of Milwaukee.

I thought I would try posting one, before I add the rest.  First time posting a pic ture here.

Well  that seemed to work.

This is my first season with a ComPac 23 - or any ComPac.

I sailed on Lake Michigan this years, starting mid July.  Here are a few of the pics I like.

Sailing up to Chicago.

I did not go sailing nearly enough this year, but here are a few shots from a great day on the Pamlico River in August.

My son had the best seat on our 16!

We dropped the hook and went for a swim.

Hi Everyone,

Some photo's from 2013:

Tied up at the dock in Jackon Harbor WI, during a 4 day sail from Ellison Bay, around Washington Island and Rock Island, Door County Wisconsin.

Sunrise, waking up in Washington Harbor, Washington Island WI

Sailing downwind, south, in light winds, Door County mainland in the distance.

Shipshape, lines all Bristol, speaking of which does anyone know if there is a right or wrong direction to lay down flemish coils?

Leisure sail out from Milwaukee with my brother (at the tiller) wife and his wife.  Sailed into the harbor, under the bridge and had a nice meal in the 3rd Ward, then sailed at night back to McKinley Marina.
