This is the one item I miss as a single-hander and cruiser of my Horizon Cat and has been discussed here previously, but Raymarine has come out with a new product. I can't seem to find out if the wheel drive will fit the stainless steel wheel I have (I'm sure a simple phone call or email would provide the answer) and it will cost $1410 from Defender. Any comments?

Hey Rahn:
I just installed one in our C27, I could not find a new controller head for our old p4000+.  The system is very good and intuitive to use, which is a good thing since the Raymarine manuals are not so intuitive to use.

The MK2 Wheel Drive is 14 inches in diameter and requires some sort of a pedestal or fixed point to mount it.  The ACU 100, unlike the other ACU's, requires 12 VDC to the controller and to the SeaTalk system....it took me longer than I care to admit to figure that out.

Good luck.
