News:

2-15-25: Gerry Hutchins, founder of Com-Pac, has crossed the bar and headed west.

Sincere condolences to his family, and a huge "Thank You!" to Gerry from all of us, I'm sure.
Requiescat in pace.

I am considering a genoa for my CP-16XL. Looking at the picture of the '86, the genoa shape is altered by interference with the pulpit. Should the sailmaker decrease the luff and raise the tack?
Also, I see long tracks on the coaming of the unit for sale. What improvement in sailing with tracks vs taking the sheets to a cleat?
I know this is going off topic, but the picture illustrates my questions.
Thanks.

Let the head sail lay on the bow pulpit what ever way it wants too.

On my CP-19, after years of trying, we put the rail under water and out the scuppers on just a 155% lapper that is deformed on the bow pulpit.

Sail with the tell tails plastered against the sail.
