D ring replacement?

Have any of you done this? I am just wondering where to buy replacements and any tips on this? Mine is pulled half out but still holding. It looks like the backing plate or backing nuts and washers crumbled from corrosion.

Are you talking the bow eye (that the trailer winch attaches to), or the folding pad eye in the cockpit (not sure if that is a factory option or not, my 23 has one)?

This is what I put on our 1985 23' - works great - I did add another backing plate from an old chain plate that I repalced for additional strength.
