Well, well.  I happen to own a 1989 23/3 that is loaded with goodies: dodger (one a custom made hard dodger) Bimini with fabric that goes between the soft dodger and bimini GPS, hand held VHS radio Auto pilot.main, jib, genny,12v fans good lights new foam  (4 inches) throughout.  New covers for all bunks.  Lots of other stuff that will go with the boat Just had the bottom painted and the boat comes with a double axel trailer with brakes.

Price: not a penny less than $8000.00

Interesting Norm.....A bit higher that I may be able to go right now and I have to sell the Catalina 30 right now.

Not looking to sell the boat immediately.  Want to use it this summer.  BTW the boat has an 8 hp two stroke Tohatsu outboard.  I am in my mid seventies and located in the Middle Chesapeake Bay Area.  The boat is in Mayo, Maryland off the Rhode River.

Norm, that is sounding better.  It sounds promising because I am in the Middle Bay when I hop out of the Potomac.  I am probably not too far away.  The timing might be right but I have to evaluate where I am when my boat sells, if it does, and I have to convince the wife on this one.

I will say that my second hobby is working on boats.  LOL.  I enjoy doing most maintenance things and when I buy a boat it is usually in better shape and looks better when I sell it.

Rhode River is beautiful.  The Spirit of Liberty has been there on the way to Annapolis.  That area has some amazing cruising areas such as St. Michaels, Oxford, Cambridge, and Solomon's Island.  I love sailing through that area.

PM me.

Just my two cents but you might want to look into a Horizon Cat.  VERY TRADITIONAL FOR SAILING THE CHESAPEAKE!!  I used to sail a Catalina 34 tall rig and I am loving my new Horizon Cat.  It's 20' so obviously smaller than the 23 but really a fun boat.  There are a couple of used boats out your way (not easy to find used as owners tend to hang on to them)  I think Rahn is selling his in Rochester.  He has an outboard on his.  Just something you might want to look at.
