Called the Compac factory today.

Rich was in and out, but his secretary talked to him and Friday afternoon May 9th should work for a tour.

She laughed and commented "There isn't much here to see"!

Actually, when I was there last week, they are just finishing up a new CP27, with every option known to man. A bow thruster on a 27? Dark blue hull, she's a beauty!

They are funny at the factory; it's pretty cool if you haven't seen it before. Between ordering and getting SunCat #21, we were on vacation in Florida, and I set up a time to visit. It was really cool to see the various steps the boats were going through.

Oops, edited to correct hull number.

getting for our get together, i've been going bananas looking for the nauticpath chip for my gps.

i looked through every box, bin, and bag of misc. sailing paraphernalia i have at least 3 times with no luck.

i was beginning to think we would have to call ahead to a marine store and pay another small fortune for a new one.

i went into the basement one last time, looked into a box with only 2 items in it, and wouldn't you know it?  there it was, RIGHT WHERE I LEFT IT!

sometimes if you look too hard, you look past what your searching for.

i also found my bright yellow, 6' tall halogen work lights i looked so hard for last month.  (they were in a corner with my 20 or so fishing rods)

reedtg3,

LOW TIDE at Dunedin/Caladesi Is. on Monday, May 5, 2014, is indeed at 10:35 AM.

HOWEVER, note that the water level for this "Low" Tide is 1.2 ft ABOVE the "0.0" datum line AND that the tide rises from then to 2.3 ft above datum at 4:14 PM!

Hope this helps.
