Yes, Hutchins made a small number of diesel 23s. There's a pretty one at the marina next to mine - hoping to meet the owner and find out more.

Mine has a Yanmar diesel...I think there were about 400 23s made that way.   By the way, for those of you that were following my motor woes, I put a brand new cylinder head on my broke down diesel and she's up and running again!  Now I'm selling the yamaha outboard I bought while waiting to repair my little Yanny.

I was debating bidding on this boat, thats why i didnt post!  This boat originally didnt have an inboard.  The original owner had the volvo put in a year or to after purchasing it.  I asked since I thought it odd to have a volvo inside.  Im going to pass though since I already have my overgrown trailer sailer!

I also have a 23D with a Yanmar Diesel.  Great little engine that seems to be very reliable.  The Ebay boat looks like a big project!
