Is it April yet? Sigh……

This was a tough day.  I knew it was inevitable.  Today I prepped the Madame for her winter storage and dropped her off at the storage barn.  How do we cope?  Yes, I know she will be safe from the ravages of winter but I will still miss seeing her in the back yard.

No, it isn't April yet! And covering the boat for winter is one sad time but there's always the famous "Winter to-do list". Is that your storage barn? Is it far from your house? There's always sailing magazines to help you get through the winter.

Bob,
Our local lumberyard upgraded and moved into a new facility and sold the old buildings to someone who now rents out space.  It is about 10 miles from home so I do have some access but no heat.  As far as the "Winter to-do list", I think if I don't get to the "Admiral's to-do-list" there may be big trouble.

We had a great summer weather wise.  Almost every weekend offered at least one good sailing day so many of the household projects were put on the back burner.  So now I must resign myself to get them done before I can focus on the Madame Z's list.  These girls require so much attention!  ;)

Thanks for listening to me whine...
How's the foot doing?

Foots doing fine...minor non-displaced fracture so I'm back to work. Hurts a bit but I'm looking at 60 next year so a lot of the parts hurt a bit!
I haven't even started my to-do list yet. Once I started storing the boat off site, I tended to do very little until spring. When I stored it in my back yard, I was up inside it many evenings..beats wasting time watching the boob tube!
I also have the house to-do list...fun, fun!
