Terminology note: I use topsides to mean that part of the boat above the waterline but below the rub rail/hull deck joint. Anything above the hull/deck joint is the deck. Not sure if that is nautically correct, just what I learned.

Anyway, DO NOT put Poli Glow anywhere that your feet might land. It is slick. They make a product called Poli Grit for non-skid deck areas. I have not tried it. If I decided that I wanted the deck to be shiny I would try out Poli Grit.
