CP27 base price in 2003

Does anyone out there have any idea what the base price of a CP27 was in 2003.  I'm considering making an offer on one and the info would be very helpful.

I don't think the original purchase price is of much relevance. Condition means everything. A well kept 86 is worth much more than a beat up 2003. What boat are you looking at? If I may ask.
For what it's worth my latest interest is finding an old FJ40. They sold for around 3K new. The one I really want is listed for 13K!!!
