My post has had 90 views with no comments and no one has shown any interest? Does anyone have any suggestions, I am starting to think this is just a bad time to sell a boat.

yes it is a bad time. and $13.5k is a lot to spend for the cheap-os on that are on this site (myself included).
SailingTexas is a good place to sell a boat, but I think you might have to pay.

post a link to some pictures and that will help too.

I have a Bro-n-law looking for a compac but he is in Hawaii and will have to have it shipped. If you were on the west coast I am sure he would be interested.

You probably got so many views b/c we like to look at the pretty pictures of the pretty boats, (just a bunch of tire kickers). And the thing about this site, 99% of the people on it already have boats :(

There is a guy around New Orleans who has been posting that he is looking for a 19. he may be interested in a cat boat,
however, I'm not sure what he is looking to spend. Here is the link to that thread.

Maybe it's hard to sell a sailboat without a trailer. I wonder if you'd have more luck buying a trailer and adding it to the price? Doesn't sound like a high price to me for a diesel Horizon.
Sailing Texas, as Billy noted is a good place. How about Craigslist? I love my 23 too much to even think about a HorizonCat.

Agree on the trailer.  Only a local person would consider it.  Try to put posters up in local marinas to find a local buyer. Without that trailer, there would be almost no chance of someone buying it outside of the area.  Or the buyer will tell you they will buy it for $10.5K because they have to buy a trailer.

Also..take a look at your ad.  Doesn't a $13K boat deserves more than 1 line-actually less than that without description of condition or pictures?  Things like hull color, condition of sails, condition of hardware, hours on the diesel, maintenance performed, etc is helpful to the buyer.  Ask yourself if you would call based on your ad.  I wouldn't..looks like your hiding something.  Not saying you are mind you, but that's the appearance with no details.

Also, state what is wrong with it.  If it's in bristol shape, state that too.  Not stating that now makes the buyer wonder and question what is wrong with it. Then if someone does look at it and find things wrong, you can bet the buyer will start reducing their offer accordingly.  Knowing what is wrong upfront isolate you from the reduced offer and will let the buyer know you can be trusted.
