went out the other day in my legacy weather posting calmwinds 5 to 10.  get several miles out into the bay and the wind whipps up to 15 and better. white caps breaking over the bow of the boat.  by myself i was wore out after 3 hours of sailing.  the little sister took everything that was thrown at it.  never any doubt about the stability of the boat.  never gave any thought to reefing my sails.  had the jib up the whole time. this boat is one tough sailor.  i think it out performs the builders expectations. now it is rough and it will beat you around but it's good to know you can get caught in some high winds and make it in.  been wanting to get a larger boat for times like this, but today sail in the river with calm winds was so enjoyable i think i'll keep this legacy a while longer
