Here's a video my son shot while he and my daughter in law were sailing with me on Lake Nockamixon, PA.  By the way, Gerry Hutchins posted the video on the Com Pac Yachts website in the Com Pac Theater under Com Pac 19 (no longer in production).  Enjoy!

Sunshine, full sails, water sliding by and smiles all around. What more could anyone ask for. Great day.

Ralph,
Watched it again. I noticed you have a mid boom mainsheet with a traveler in the cockpit.

It seems to work better for sailing, but possibly in the way when going down into the cabin. And could you still have a bimini w/ the mainsheet there?

What are your thoughts?

Billy, I find the mid boom mainsheet a great modification to the boat. It was on the boat when I bought it and I didn't think I'd like it, but after using it, I love it.   I haven't had any problems with access to the cabin - it looks like it might be in the way, but it really isn't - plenty of room to get by.  And, I do in fact have a bimini, it doesn't cover all the way but shades the cockpit nicely.

Thanks Ralph,

Is the main sheet on a traveler on the bridge right in front of the companionway or across the cockpit?

I'm not to fond of the stern main sheet but like that it is out of the way when lounging. Now you've planted another modification in my head!

Yes, the main sheet is on a traveler on the bridge in front of the companionway.  I tried to post a picture of it, but not having any luck.  Here is a link:
