I have not been active on this forum for many years and would like to become involved again.  I have owned a CP 19 for 25 years...her name is Ariel and was well known on Mobile Bay.  Ariel and I moved to Florida where she was wrecked by Hurricane Earl in 1998.  In 2000 we came back to Mobile Bay and she was restored.  She is now sailing and in fairly good shape for an old boat.  Perhaps there are other CP 19 owners who would like to communicate?  I would welcome their posts.

Welcome Deborah!  That is so good that you could get her restored!  My Blond Ambition is a ComPac 23.  I don't have anywhere near your experience ... This is only my second year sailing.  But I find this group to be very helpful and friendly.  I'll look forward to reading your posts!

Thank you.  CP owners are very devoted to their boats.  I think Hutchins builds  each boat with a great deal of personality.  This is the second CP I have owned.  The first was a CP 16 which was a sweet boat.  The only other sailing group that seem to love their boats as much are the Catboat Association folks.  Thanks for responding and I look forward to further communications from you.  When I figure out how to post a photo I will upload one of the old girl.

Thank you.  I have posted 3 pictures...not the best but is a start.  They are listed as Ariel & Fawkes and then there are two different shots of them in my bayou if you are interested.  Hunting for photos made me realize how much I need to make some newer ones....these were made after Hurricane Katrina (that's why there are so few leaves on the trees).
