Did anyone check out the article about the Com-Pac 16 "Cheerful" in the Sept/Oct issue of "Small Craft Advisor"?  Neat story and good photos.  Worth checking out.

Also, there's a good article entitled "Seaworthiness & Trailerable Sailboats"  written by the same author of "The Seaworthy Offshore Sailboat," John Vigor.  Take the test.  I think you'll be pleased with the results.

Good reads.  Grog to all. :D

Regarding the seaworthiness, check out this link:

Interactive test.

Post article, or paraphrase here please.  The link is useless for accessing the CP-16 story. The first link will get you to the "test".

Rick:

I just checked the link and it did work.  Once you're at the SCA site, follow their instructions.

Or try this one:  TEST

Let us know.

Good!  Like the test scored a 180.   How about the c-16 article?

I'm pretty sure ya have to buy their magazine for the article (copyright etc) GREAT small boat mag tho...well worth getting and the owners are true small boat nuts and really nice guys too.

Glad it worked for you.  I think mine was a 178.

Frank is right.  You may want to find the actual mag, but if you wait a while it might be posted on the web.  It might be a long while as they publish on 6 mags per year.  That leaves time to read it cover to cover several times.  ;)

Wonderful magazine. I was just reading a back issue where someone had converted a 16 into a trawler powered by an 18 horse merc.  I can hear someone scream "Blasphemy!" but she turned out fine.
   To each his own.
While on the subject of magazines, who read Messing About in Boats?
