Ahoy,  My name is Liz and we just purchased a 1978 com pac 16 with no mast or boom or other rigging.  We have not been able to find any specs on them.  We live in Mpls MN and there are several moored on Lake Harriet.  We were wondering if there was anyone who could supply us with the specs or perhaps let us measure thier mast and boom as we know the sections come from Dwyer.
We do know that we can purchase the works from Com Pac but as I am a rigger I would prefer to save the money.  I would appreciate any assistance or information you could provide.  Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.  Congrats on your purchase.  Your sure to like her.

As for the specs on the standing rigging, I don't have them handy.  But they could be measured.  Mine is a 16-3, with the bowsprit.  So the forestay would be a little long for your version.  But, the rest should be OK.

If any get the specs first, please go ahead.  We're going out of town for Sunday.

Have you inquired with Dweyer?  They may have the specs in a database.

Good luck.

Sounds like the one that showed up on Craigslist, and disappeared quickly ;)

Yes it is the one that was on Craigs list.  She's not in bad shape.

We did inquire with Dwyer and they can't give us mast/boom section size or length as they have an agreement with Compac.  You can order it if you know it.  So All we really need is the mast and boom length.  We are calling Compac today to get more information.  Hope your sail was lovely.

Congrats on the new boat,  I live just south of Minneapolis and would be more then happy to let you take a look at my boat and take any measurements or see any details on how the boat is rigged.  cparrish(AT)fafnirnet.net
