News:

2-15-25: Gerry Hutchins, founder of Com-Pac, has crossed the bar and headed west.

Sincere condolences to his family, and a huge "Thank You!" to Gerry from all of us, I'm sure.
Requiescat in pace.

Bewildered

While this may appear to be a boat that has been ready for winter storage, it will in fact be moved cross-country to San Diego.  Unfortunately, it is not recommended to shrink-wrap the Awlgrip paint on the topsides. So, the deck, cabin top and everything above the rub rail is covered and ready for shipment.  That is my Eclipse underneath all that plastic.

Looks secure. Good luck and safe travels. That's a long distance to tow a boat.

I'm spending my children's inheritance and having the boat and trailer loaded on a flatbed and hauled by a pro outfit to the west coast.  On the bright side for them, they will have a beautiful Eclipse to sail on when I'm gone:)
