Anyone keep their Com-Pac on a boat lift?  I see photos of various sailboats that are on boat lifts but have yet to see a Com-Pac, especially a CP-23 on a lift.  I am struggling with this since I have a 10K lb lift that would need to have the water beneath it dredged and the lift modified to fit the keel/hull shape before it would be usable for a boat with a 2'3" draft to work.  Before going through that expense, I would like to find any others who may offer their experience or advice on the matter.   Thanks for any help with this.

I have, in the past, used a hydrohoist lift for my 19 II.  It currently is not functioning, and is scheduled for repairs.  I prefer using the lift when I can. It keeps the bottom clean from freshwater "hair" scum.

I had my Eclipse mast up on a lift here in SW FL for 3 years.  The marine contractor measured my trailer and modified the cradle to fit the boat.  Worked very well.  There is a 23PH here that has been on a lift for longer than that. The canals here are dredged for deep keel boats and there are many on lifts, some over 30ft.

A 23 should have no problem on a lift if the water is deep enough to get the boat on and off.

The marine contracting dudes are pros. they can make it work, just takes a few $$$$..

A consideration is that when trailering or lifting a Compac a large percentage of the weight should be on the keel and not on the hull itself. I think it should be around 70% of the weight. I think this recommendations was from the factory in the past, but not completely sure. Obvious the opinion of the experts is valuable!
