Has anyone used a loos gauge on the shrouds of a Horizon?  Just wonder what you have them tensioned to?  I have not splashed the Horizon yet and assume that Al has them tensioned correctly, just trying to fill in the blanks.  Sail on     Al

Hi Al,
Glad to hear that you made it to FL safely, and that Triad's trailer performed well.
I left the shrouds about as they had been setup by the dealer when he turned it over to me.  Only snugged up a turn or 2 on the turnbuckles, not exactly tight.  The leeward one went slack with not too much wind.  Had to re-tension a few times as things stretched and bedded in.  Went into some pretty strong squalls with no problem.
Looking fwd to your experiences with her on the Gulf.
