Arrived at our daughter's in northern IL on Tuesday. The whole drive up the temps were in the mid 50s. This morning we awoke to 6° and snow. The snow is a welcome sight, the temps? It does give me the chance to wear my leather jacket that is too warm for NC winters.

Growing up south of Tampa Bay, I  didn't see snow until I was 19.  I didn't appreciate just how cold 6 degrees can be until I spent some time working out in it.  And add a little wind in the mix... brrrrrr.

We have a low here (Columbia SC area) of 29 this morning.  No snow forecasted for Christmas but some beautiful sunny days all week.
