Too Many Irons

We've all heard the saying "too many irons in the fire". Well, that's me this week.  We've been on the go every day with social events and appointments. I've been trying to find a surveyor for the Pacific Seacraft and organize him/her with a sea trial and haul out. In between I'm keeping up with riding my bicycle 15 miles a day and this week I started weight training again. I'm also refinishing the exterior teak on the Seidelmann (cetol) while readying the 19 for the Florida trip. That's where I messed up.  After making new teak interior trim and installing it in the 19, I proceeded to apply Cetol to it. That's when I realized all the existing teak is oiled. 😒
I just added more work.

Amazing how we make more work for ourselves.  I do it all the time.  My trailer is just about done, and I am getting excited.  Not so much about the drive to pick up the boat but having it in FL this winter.  Slow down a bit Carl, so the mistakes are minimized.  Did not know you were a bike rider.  What bike do you ride?  I have a Terra Trike Traveler which fits through the companionway of the sailboat, so it can go to FL also.  Sail On,  Al

Al, I've been riding a Motobecane Elite Trail for 13 years. Since retiring, I put about 3,000 miles on every year. I've
always been a rider. Belonged to a cycle club in the 70s, and did a bit of touring too. One of the things I love about living here, very little traffic. If I need something in town, I'll take the bike.
I stripped all the Cetol off the teak and sanded it. 1st coat of oil went on this morning. Raining now so no work on the Seidelmann.  The sea trial for the Orion is set for the 21st with a short haul for the surveyors inspection.

Good luck with surveyor.  After prostate cancer, I could not ride a 2 wheel bike and so switched over to a TerraTrike 3 wheel Trike.  Kinda like riding a lawn chair with wheels.  Folds and fits through the companionway on the Eclipse - and hopefully on the Horizon!!  I run a bike club in Florida doing 20 mile rides weekly on Wed. Where we live in Elgin, I have 200 miles of bike trails available by crossing on street.  I go about 1500 miles a year.
The Triad trailer for the Horizon is just about ready.  Hopefully within the week.

Did a search on Terra Trike.  A neighbor rides something like it.  I've heard many people refer to them as "3 wheeled bicycles".  I entered into a conversation with a friend about,  evidently he doesn't understand the meaning of "bi" and "tri".
