Bushing on Oberdorfer raw waterpump

I?m rebuilding my Oberdorfer  water pump on my M2-12. When I pulled it apart, sure enough, there was the carbon bushing.  But the rebuild kit came with a brass bushing with what looks like little circles in it that may be Teflon.  Is this what replaces the carbon bushing?  The tag on the waterpump matched the part # on the rebuild kit.

Edit: the new bushing is PTFE-plugged bronze.  I?m not keen on replacing with something that was not part of original design without adequate time to test it.  I don?t have that because boat is 200 miles from my house and I need to get it moved soon. That trip will involve motoring most of the way.
