I've booked a room for Friday night and plan on being at the show all day Friday. Anyone interested in a Pain Killer for lunch? We're staying about 5 miles from downtown at a dinky motel.

hmm. Maybe...not sure I can make it on Friday. Will you be there for Friday only?

Reighnman

My parents are watching our son so one night only for us. We did Saturday last year and it was PACKED. I want to get there early on Friday so we can see the "smaller" monohulls without too many people.

Very good points...and I might just be up for a day off from work...and a few level 2 Painkillers!!

Got an email from G. Winter's Sailing in Riverside NJ for a preview show at their facility on 9/22. Says they'll have 50 boats available and they're giving out Annapolis tickets for free! Well, 1 person per person, while supplies last:). Not a bad deal if you're close. Link below

Ellen and I are planning Thursday and Friday, and staying a few miles away, either Hampton or Hilton garden inn.  Used my points from business travel for room.  Pain killer lunch on Friday sounds like plan.  We did 2 day pass, w/Thursday VIP just to avoid the big crowd.  The day 2 is more for weather insurance,  and as cool down period to make sure I do not do anything stupid with family funds...

We make a mini vacation out of it, and this year plan on stopping into new Guinness Brewery in Baltimore, and a couple days at Colonial Williamsburg.

But, with wife a FEMA worker, and hurricane season in full swing, there is always good chance I will be solo again.

Admiral Ellen and I confirm we will be there on Thursday, all day.  Friday-at Guiness Brewery Baltimore, Friday night back to Hilton Garden inn, Annapolis, and at show Sat morning, leaving after lunch.  Will be having pain killers for lunch, one for me as I am driver, more for Ellen...

Had to make reservation at Guinness, and already sold out tour bookings...

Hope to see y'all there.

Hmm...this is starting to sound like an Annapolis Compac Convergence! Did someone say Painkillers??

Even though I had planned to be there ALL YEAR....turns out Lesa has a High School class reunion on Saturday. :(

Drink a couple Pain Killers for me.
