Hi guys,

Thinking of using spinlock camcleats for genoa sheets. Has anyone had any experience with them? Durability, installation tips?

I have some genoa sheet tracks with adjustable swivel cam cleats from my 16 I'll sell you if you need something! Slightly different then what you pictured, goes on top of cockpit coming

Just my opinion, but from my experience sailing smaller vessels I would shy away from a spinlock cleat for a jib sheet.  For something you will be trimming often I'd stick to a standard cam-cleat with fairlead.  Easier to cleat/un-cleat, and less maintenance.

I'd say the offer from Yamaha is a good one if you don't already have tracks.

Yep, I have no use for them and would sell them for a fair deal. I only have a lapper style jib and someone put these on my boat, I can't sheet my jib in enough as it hits the side stay, so I bought new cam cleats that will be mounted to the cabin roof and run the sheets inside the stays, can't wait to try it out. I would consider tracking down a hank on genoa and just use two sails and both setups, I found one for sale very cheap somewhat locally on craigslist the other day, but I already filled the holes in on the boat, damn!
