Fellow sailors; you may be interested in an item that I just acquired having seen it first in Soundings magazine. It is called StayGrip. The device is a plastic/rubber grip type clamp that easily attaches to a boats stay. It can be used to hang flags, anchor lights, radar reflector, support lines, etc. They come in a package of two complete with three sizes of rubber bands and will fit stays 3/16" - 5/16" diameter. They are made and sold in England.  I bought mine on e-bay for less than $20.00 delivered. Google StayGrip for info. I will test these at my Spring launch and make a report. Steve

Hi,
I have just joined the forum, having bought a Com-Pac 19 recently, in England. Quite coincidentally, we offer the Staygrip at www.saltyjohn.com.
