Connection of furler to mast head

Hi All,
I was putting my boat together in the driveway today and realized I was missing the connecting piece that connects my CDI furler to the masthead. I had seen it in my basement last fall laying loose on the floor and thought that I was lucky to have found it since it would be a PITA to replace. So I picked it up, put it in a safe place & now I can't find it.

As I recall it is U shaped plate.  The opening of the U is the width of a clevis pin. The closed end of the U is placed over a clevis pin on the masthead.  The open ends of the U have holes that a clevis pin goes through and connects the 'U' to the eye of the furler wire.

I've checked the CDI site and can't find any reference to this part. Don't even know what the proper term for it is. If anyone can help me with a name or source I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Marc

OK. So I've made some progress here. I've got a turnbuckle in my spare parts bin. Looks like I can use the turnbuckle's toggle to replace the part at the masthead that I lost. My question now is this: The part I lost was about an inch wide and could only move about 1/8" side to side when attached to the mast head fitting.  My toggle is 5/8" wide and will be able to slide side to side until I get the rigging tightened up. I don't see a problem with this but am I overlooking anything?

Go to defender.com and search "toggle." One of them should work. Or ask a local rigging shop.

Took your advice Wes and went to a local rigger. He set me up with what I need for $10. Thanks for prodding me to go.
