As this season winds down, and project lists get made I have to dream of next year.  Sooooo  any thoughts on pulling from SW. Iowa to Jupiter or Palm beach Fl. and crossing the gulf stream over to the Bahamas?

My thoughts would be to wait till hurricane season is over and see whats left.  Irma may do a job on the southeastern islands.  I did do a bareboat charter on the sea of Abaco some years back and it was about two years after a hurricane had passed over.  The infrastructure associated with tourism was back, but the inland part of the island, mostly not inhabited was still fairly well destroyed.

That said, I know several folks here have done that trip in 23D's and 23PH's

Winding down the season?  Mines just starting.  Labor day has passed, school has started, the power boats are off the lake most folks around here are focused on football and the opening of the various hunting seasons.  I'll have the lake to myself from now until Memorial Day.
