I haven't been to my boat in a month.  Trying to get there Friday in time to get the boat ready for Saturday sailing. Wonder if I still know how to do anything on the boat or if my Old-Timer's disease will have me forgetting everything. Should be interesting.

Good luck!  Weather's supposed to be good, but chilly.  And it's not Old-Timers that's the problem, it's Frain Barts.

Hey Bruce:
Just getting ready to shove off and head down river this morning.  Possibly see you all on the Neuse.  Will be returning to New Bern Saturday evening.

Frain Barts, Dain Bramage, well, I have probably got them all. I was feeling the Old Timers because I just signed up for the medicare rigamarole. Such a milestone. Or is that millstone, har har.

Anyway, thanks for the replies.

Charlie, I will just be going where the wind takes me probably out front of Upper Broad Creek. Usually I go back to the club for overnight, but possibly will anchor out. I'll look for ya.

Bruce,

Me too on the medicare thing.  One positive note however,  My deductible is now zero with nearly zero co-pays (from &6.8K plus 20% co-pays), and net out of pocket (premiums) dropped about $5k/yr.

Probably the best medical coverage I've had since I was in the Navy (a long time ago).

However much the Frain Barts still do occur, I just got my flu & Pneumonia and shingles vaccinations all at no charge.  This means I can spend more money on sailing do-dads.
