I got a quote from the local (St Petersburg, FL ) Doyle loft today for a replacement of my SunCat sail.

I was quoted a price of $620 with one reef point, battens std length, luff slides, tell tales, ComPac Insignia, and sail bag.

Doesn't sound too bad.  I like going to a local loft if anything needs adjustment as opposed to ordering a Chinese sail.

What do you think?  Good?  Not so Good?  Your experiences?

Thanks
Ron

Looks like a good price to me Ron. And I agree ComPac & Doyle have a long relationship so service should be fine.

Ron,

That's probably a good price. Got one from National Sails for $700.00 which was 5oz. fabric and very well made. Worth a call to Dirk there. By the way, as far as I could determine, ALL the major lofts have their sails built overseas.
