No Mas New England

I have come out of the shadows to announce No MAS has made it safe and sound to the waters of New England (southern at this point).  She has already left an impression in the neighborhood as her sea trials took place when conditions kept most others from venturing out.  "Impressive little boat".

She is sitting proudly in a slip in Spicer's Marina in Noank CT.  Next July we will likely take her up to a mooring in Northeast Harbor Maine for adventures along downeast Maine.

A big thank you to Rick for his time familiarizing me with this great boat and his continued support (pulling over to assure me she had plenty of fuel!).

Now who represents the welcoming committee to which I must send my orientation fee to?

Bob23

That'd be me. You certainly have a wonderful boat there and because I am also a 23 owner, you qualify for the 50% discount for the membership and initiation fee. Bad news is the membership fee went up just one day before you posted. Tell you what, when I'm up in Maine next, you buy the first round and we'll call it even!
Welcome...and we do invite you to share your adventures (and misadventures) with the crew here.

Glad you finally have come out! Also glad she is up that direction, as she is getting close to completing her round trip of North America!

I know she is good hands.

Now to the business at hand......Bob is clearly struggling with all of the various permutations that No Mas has caused to the fee schedule , user names, and general mayhem in the forum. I suggest that all interested parties agree to meet at some point in the future (maybe a winter gathering) to sort this out and put the fee's to bed. I have already lost track of who owes what to who and how many rounds are being discussed. Heck, i have enough trouble keeping track of boats this year!

Meester Mas: Great idea. I haven't lost track, though. To date, you owe me about a months worth of Guinness but, hey I'm easy to work with. You can also pay in Painkillers or Dark and Stormys! I smell a Chesapeake Bay Mid Winter Gathering in the works. If this keeps up, I may have to retire just to stay current with all these sailing meets and gatherings!!!

Glad to see you on here.

They are tough little boats.  They are quite capable too.

Hmm, I think all this talk of mid winter gatherings is just a trick to entice me across the Mason Dixon line without having obtained fee amnesty.  Will Vinny, Rocco and the rest of the collection squad be waiting at the line? Will this gathering take place at an Italian establishment? Would I need to bring these guys with me just in case?

Welcome No Mas NE

Bob23

Yeah, bring these guys. I know 'em all! From left to right: Vinnie. Vinnie, Jr. Rocco, and Rocco's cousin Joey, Danny and on the right Giuseppe. The big guy they're holding didn't pay his membership fee. I'm not saying this could happen to you but...well, you decide.
I think the next CBMWG might take place at O'Malleys Ristorante!
