I'm moving to NC for a new job and have received interest on my Compac 19, which I'm reluctantly selling. Check out the email I received today, from a lame, wanna-be
scam-artist after I sent him pics of my boat.

The amazing internet, a new scam every day.

The real thing that surprises me here is that this chap didn't tell you that he is related to some Nigerian prince and trying to do something good for his homeland. It is also intersting that he didn't try to pay you off with Viagra samples or some other drug product.

This could just be a case of a scammer who likes sailing and wants a boat?

I received several similar emails when I put my C16 for sale on a popular internet sailboat site. I had a friend with a classic mustang for sale receive the same type email.

He thought the guy was legit till we googled up car sales scams and proved to him otherwise.
